The Regional Climate Security Network was launched online during the Regional Stakeholder Dialogue on Climate Security on December 8, 2020. The launch was performed by Eng. Heba Al Hariry, the Arab Water Council’s Deputy Technical Director, in presence of his Excellency, Dr. Mahmoud Abouzeid, President of the Arab Water Council, her Excellency Ambassador Ms. Nada El Agizy, Director of the Sustainable Development and International Cooperation at the League of Arab States and Ms. Paula Pagliani, Regional Programme Coordinator at the United Nations Development Programme Regional Bureau for Arab States, as well as 73 participants of the Regional Stakeholder Dialogue, representing a multitude of stakeholders and partners from across the Arab region.
